Removing Warts

The primary cause of warts is the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). The majority of coses on human occur on their feet, neck, hands, face, forehead and knees. They can be embarrassing for people, but a number of removal healing methods are available to get rid of them. Most of the treatments can completely remove the infection. You should always remember to wash hands to help avoid spreading the strains of HPV.

Liquid nitrogen is the best freezing technique which will completely remove them. After few weeks, the freezing treatment is repeated for returning conditions. You can do this same procedure at home with over the counter liquid nitrogen freezing materials. However, you run the risk of freezing or burning the skin area around the warts.
A common home treatment for warts removal is using a duct tape. First clean the wart affected place. Then place a little piece of duct tape over the warts. Remove the duct tape after seven days. Clean the affected area with soapy, warm water. File the wart with some emery boards. Allow the wart area to rest for few days. Repeat these steps until the warts are removed.
Majority of the removal products contain salicylic acid on the local drug stores. These products are available in liquids, sprays or freezing compounds. It is important to follow the instructions for using those products carefully to avoid spreading warts or injuring the affected skin area.
Cantharidin is a chemical that destroys the strains of HPV and blisters the wart affected area. Most of the dermatologists apply the cantharidin to the warts. After few days they remove those dead skin and warts from the body. The dermatologists generally scrape and cut the area to do this treatment.
Laser removal technique of warts is painless.  Dermatologists normally use a laser instrument to burn the warts off the skin. This laser treatment technique is expensive that is why this method is rarely used.
Surgical removal technique to remove warts is the least popular way. Dermatologists cut the wart affected skin in this technique. A local anesthesia is given to the patient. There can be a minor scarring with this method.
