Causes of warts

The first opinions that people make about others is by and large influenced by the general appearance of the skin, visible warts can often reflect negatively in these opinions. When warts appear on the face or any visible regions of the skin surface, our confidence and general approach to life and social relations is compromised. Warts are viral infections that facilitate abnormal growth of skin cell on the top most part of the skin surface.

The first tell-tale sign of wart infection is a tiny itchy pimple that slightly resembles acne but without any black heads. Medical practitioners state that warts are a common virus that has affected and will affect every human being in varied modes. This is due to our day to day activates and interaction with other human beings in the process of sharing common entities. A simple handshake or using public toilets are a common way of transferring the virus. Skin warts go on record as targeting the abdorninal regions of the human anatomy: such as the genitals. Moreover, warts are a common feature on the face and fingers (hands) especially among school going children.
On a broader perspective, warts affect both male and female in equal measure. As per the afore mentioned, warts (also known as HPV-Human papilloma Virus) can be spread from an infected person by simply coming in contact with carries for the virus. Such carries include surfaces that are used by the general public like door handles, stationary and books. The most common way of Human papilloma Virus infection is human contact with an infected individual through open sores or sexual proclivities. An accidental skin scrape is enough to spread wart to the general population.
In men, warts normally appear in areas that are hairy and constantly shaved. Such regions include the skin surface beneath beards or arm pits. Warts manifest themselves as large growths that spread rapidly due to the abrasion of the skin surface with the shaving apparatus. Among women, warts mostly affect the genital regions of their body .The virus manifests itself as dry sores that are painless but spread rapidly.
The viral nature of Warts enables them survive on surfaces for a prolonged period of time. Viruses are known to survive for a long period of time in order for a carrier to come along for them to propagate and spread. Warts cannot multiply outside a living being hence they require a human beings body; especially the cell, for them to multiply.
